Hot stone therapy is a specialized form of massage therapy that leverages the heat from smooth, flat stones to enhance the massage experience. The warmth emanating from these heated stones helps to relax and loosen muscles, thereby enabling the massage therapist to apply deeper pressure if necessary. This technique can be particularly beneficial for individuals who suffer from chronic muscle tension. Furthermore, hot stone therapy is often employed to relieve painful conditions like arthritis and fibromyalgia, as the heat serves to reduce inflammation and alleviate pain. Beyond its physical benefits, the comforting nature of hot stone massage can significantly reduce stress and anxiety, fostering a state of deep relaxation and well-being.

Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), on the other hand, focuses on the fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and joints. This form of therapy aims to improve the mobility and flexibility of the fascia, promoting optimal functioning of muscles and other body structures. By gently stretching and manipulating the fascia, FST can help to release tightness, reduce pain, and improve overall movement and performance. It's especially beneficial for athletes or those who engage in regular physical activity, as it can enhance performance, reduce the risk of injury, and speed up recovery. Furthermore, by improving the body's alignment and reducing physical discomfort, FST can also contribute to improved posture and overall body awareness.

Massage - not covered by insurance

This discipline is available for anyone seeking high quality and therapeutic massage by a qualified practitioner but don't necessarily wish to claim the amount for insurance reimbursement.

Morgan’s passions for treatment surround chronic stress conditions and asymmetries in the body leading to pain or discomfort.

Morgan offers two different treatment styles in her approach to helping the body to rehabilitate itself through massage therapy: Fascial Stretch Therapy(FST) and Hot Stone Massage.

Fascial Stretch Therapy provides relief from stiffness due to prolonged postures, decreased range of motion, postural imbalances, pain and joint restrictions. Morgan believes in the motto that “movement is medicine”. During FST treatment sessions Morgan uses a mix of massage, assisted stretch and fascial techniques to help relax the tissue & joints, to find a deep, lengthening stretch. This style of treatment has been becoming increasingly popular as people see lasting results for pain management, rehabilitation and flexibility.

Morgan is passionate about treating the symptoms of chronic stress (ie. tension, aches and pains, headaches etc) by taking a deeply calming and restorative approach using hot stone massage therapy to relax and soothe your body’s nervous system. Morgan’s holistic approach to hot stone massage provides deep relaxation for both mind and body, allowing the body’s tension to melt away, encouraging the mind’s thoughts to slow and soften.

I found my passion in human anatomy and rehabilitation after sustaining various types of injuries through competitive sports in the past. Because of this, I am able to understand and relate to the stressors and demands that the body can go through.

I decided to pursue a career that could not only help rehabilitate, but to help empower individuals to take control of their health and pursue a healthy lifestyle tailored towards their living rhythm.

I believe in taking an intuitive approach to finding the root cause of my patient’s concerns. By learning about their daily routine a proper treatment plan can be curated ultimately bringing them back to their pain-free state.

Massage has always been a part of Josh’s life. In his culture massage exchange was common between generations and massage was freely given from grandparents parents and children within the family. So as he grew older, it was only natural that he would practice on friends and family. Josh eventually discovered his other passion in life - dance. As his dance technique became more sophisticated he found that his massage therapy skills mirrored that sophistication as well. Complementing his art, he decided to further his studies in this field. Now, as a registered massage therapist he is excited to share his passion with the public.

His style draws predominantly from his schooling in Holistic Spa Therapy and Registered Massage Therapy program to treat a range of orthopedic and systemic conditions. This includes pregnancy and postpartum, surgical scars, chronic pain, neuralgia, and of course muscle tension and back, neck and shoulder pain. Josh strives to include proper stretching, healthy habits, and injury prevention as other aspects of health within an active rehabilitation plan to provide his clients with the most positive outcome. He believes every person as unique, complex individuals and that is how he approaches each relationship with his clients; to provide them with the most successful active rehab plan.

When not at work Josh can be found dancing, making art or hanging out with his big family and many friends.
