Hot Stone Massage Registered Massage Therapy - Covered by Insurance
All treatments are covered by direct billing.
Hot stone therapy is a specialized form of massage therapy that leverages the heat from smooth, flat stones to enhance the massage experience. The warmth emanating from these heated stones helps to relax and loosen muscles, thereby enabling the massage therapist to apply deeper pressure if necessary. This technique can be particularly beneficial for individuals who suffer from chronic muscle tension. Furthermore, hot stone therapy is often employed to relieve painful conditions like arthritis and fibromyalgia, as the heat serves to reduce inflammation and alleviate pain. Beyond its physical benefits, the comforting nature of hot stone massage can significantly reduce stress and anxiety, fostering a state of deep relaxation and well-being.
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST), on the other hand, focuses on the fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, bones, and joints. This form of therapy aims to improve the mobility and flexibility of the fascia, promoting optimal functioning of muscles and other body structures. By gently stretching and manipulating the fascia, FST can help to release tightness, reduce pain, and improve overall movement and performance. It's especially beneficial for athletes or those who engage in regular physical activity, as it can enhance performance, reduce the risk of injury, and speed up recovery. Furthermore, by improving the body's alignment and reducing physical discomfort, FST can also contribute to improved posture and overall body awareness.
Registered Acupuncture & Cupping Massage
Acupuncture for musculoskeletal pain, stress/anxiety, depression, digestion, hormone balancing, internal medicine, etc. Direct billing is also available - use your benefits.

Hamidreza Salahi
Hamid received his Diploma in Massage Therapy from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2021 and became a registered member of the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia.
His deep understanding of anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, combined with a diverse range of therapeutic massage techniques, allows him to tailor treatments for medical, wellness, and whole-system massage therapy. With expertise in Swedish techniques (Effleurage, Petrissage) and Non-Swedish modalities (Trigger Point Release, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Lymphatic Drainage Techniques), Hamid preferred area of practice include: treating musculoskeletal injuries, overuse conditions, and postural dysfunctions, particularly those affecting the head and neck. His proficiency in lymphatic drainage techniques enhances his ability to support clients dealing with fluid retention, inflammation, and detoxification needs.
In addition, Hamid offers prenatal massage, providing safe and effective care for expectant mothers. His treatments help alleviate common pregnancy-related discomforts, such as lower back pain, hip tension, swelling, and fatigue. By promoting relaxation, improving circulation, and reducing stress, his prenatal massage therapy supports both maternal well-being and fetal development.
His passion for healthcare began in high school, where he was drawn to medical books and journals—especially those covering anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. This enthusiasm led him to earn the title of Registered Health Information Management Professional in Canada in 2015, working in health information administration and patient record management. However, Hamid soon realized that his true calling lay elsewhere. In 2019, while volunteering as a physiotherapist, he discovered massage therapy and was inspired to pursue it as a career. He enrolled at VCMT, one of Vancouver’s leading massage therapy institutions, and embarked on a journey that combined his love for science with hands-on healing.
For Hamid, massage therapy is more than a profession—it’s a way to bring relief, relaxation, and healing to his clients. He finds fulfillment in helping people from diverse backgrounds improve their well-being, making each day in his practice both meaningful and rewarding.

I work using a combination of deep tissue, active techniques, myofascial and swedish to encourage change in the muscles while also guiding the body into a deep state of relaxation. I believe in utilizing a holistic perspective. My treatments tend to incorporate the whole body and are designed to decrease pain, encourage circulation and promote body awareness. The most rewarding part of my career is helping my patients return to feeling like themselves again after dealing with chronic pain or acute injury.
Before massage therapy, my background was in mental health. My past work informs my knowledge of the pain-stress cycle, the nervous system and mindfulness but has also taught me how to create a non-judgmental, patient centered experience for my clients.
I myself first came to massage therapy first as a patient dealing with chronic pain. It enriched my well-being so profoundly that I found myself a year later in the classroom studying to be an RMT.

After experiencing the many benefits of manual therapy myself, I decided to pursue massage as a way to help others in their journey to wellness.
Knowing that physical, mental and emotional well-being are all connected, I’ll start our session with a thorough discussion of where you’re at and what you’d like to get from treatment. Whether it is full body relaxation, or help with a specific issue or injury, we will work together to tailor a massage that is suited to your needs, in a space where you feel safe, heard and cared for.
Treatment will be slow and intentional, always aiming to bring awareness and to develop an understanding of your body’s needs. This way, we can modify treatment as you progress, and build helpful tools that you can use at home to improve and maintain your well-being in between sessions.
