What should you expect in your RMT appointment?

1. Patient Assessment: your RMT will perform a comprehensive assessment based on history, observation, palpation, movement, neurology, referred sensation, and special tests as relevant.

2. Formulating a Treatment Plan: designing and implementing a treatment plan that is unique and curated for you!

3. Home Care: as effective as a massage is, your RMT wants to make sure that you have all the tools necessary to maintain the post massage relief you experience.

Your RMT will give you stretches, techniques, strengthening exercises, lifestyle modifications and recommendations.

It is for these reasons that your appointment is so much more than just a massage. It’s a pillar in your journey to a more holistic lifestyle.

Andrew completed his education in massage therapy at West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2018. He was motivated to pursue a career in Massage therapy after experiencing the benefits, first hand, as a patient many years ago. For Andrew, the most satisfying part if being a Massage therapist is seeing the positive results treatment can bring his patients.

While Andrew is trained in numerous Massage techniques ( Swedish, sports Massage, trigger point therapy, pregnancy, deep tissue etc) Andrew’s treatment philosophy is based on therapist oriented communication. Andrew believes active and ongoing communication is necessary to understand his patients needs and help them achieve their desired outcomes.

When not at the clinic Andrew is enjoying all that Vancouver has to offer, loves to cook, and is an avid sports fan.
